Steak's Pre-Revival Pokemon and more

[Steak]

Hey. Obviously I don't remember all 100+ Pokemon I'd made before. I gave everything I had to one of my friends for safekeeping a long time ago, and I'd be quite surprised if he still had it.

The starters were something like this though (not to conflict with current starters if you don't want).

Grass (Canine/Quadruped critter of some sort)
Grass/Psychic
Grass/Psychic
I honestly don't remember the grass chain much at all.

Lyro: Fire (A small bug with a glowing tail, also only 1 pair of arms)
Peatle: Fire/Bug (A larger bug with developed wings and a greater tail, also fire sprouting out of its back (I think))
Ghooregas: Fire/Bug (A huge bug with deadly claws and a large glowing tail, with great wings and fire erupting from its back)

Maray: Water (A small, long-bodied...thing with spines and stubby legs)
Water/Poison (I don't remember this one very much)
Water/Poison (A large, vicious-looking slug-like creature with hazardous-looking signs on its skin0

...This is very difficult, going off of memory like this. xD

Now for the bird chain that appears early in game. They were hummingbirds.
Hummi: Sound/Flying
Hummonster: Sound/Flying
Hummaster: Sound/Flying

...oops short on time, I'll list more when I get a chance.

But also pre-revival, we had three new types.

• Sound - Chatot would be converted to Sound/Flying
  
• Glass - Voltorb/Electrode would be converted to Electric/Glass, as well as a Mr. Mime evo that was around earlier.
  
• Mythic - will get into this later

Tropius evo - Citrest (Dragon/Grass)

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I WOULD NOT MIND CHANGING SOME OF MY OLD IDEAS, since two+ years later I can see how they could be improved.

I'm not too keen on the new types, but I like the other stuff, and it definitely can be utilized. I like the pokemon ideas, namely the fire bugs (just as an early-dex pokemon, not a starter), the water slugs, (mid-dex pokemon), and the hummingbird (region early-dex bird).

What did you have in mind for legendaries? I only have one idea, and I cant find a good way to conceptualize it. The idea is a superluminal (faster-than-light) pokemon, Dragon/Steel type. I'd like to have another legendary to go with this one, both involved in the plot, a legendary trio not involved with the plot, and a cutesy legendary that is extremely hard to get (a la mew, celebi, etc), and that is all as far as legendaries go.

Another Dragon/Steel main legendary? That's like Dialga. :V

I was thinking since the title was "Spectrum" the main legend would be based around colors/light, and the other would be based on lack thereof/darkness.

I think the trio was like, three amphibians of some sort. The was a Water/Steel turtle thing, Grass/Steel lizard of some sort, and a Fire/Steel frog. ...I personally am all for changing this particular idea.

Cutesy legendary...I don't remember what I had in mind for this at all. I think since they were usually part Psychic (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, poo on Manaphy) then I was going to have that one be part Psychic as well, but I don't know what I did for the main type.

Okay, more Pokemon.

iforgetthename - Fire (A small quadruped with a large barrel-like snout, a slightly armored back, and a fluffy tail)
Blortar - Fire/Steel (A larger, heavier Pokemon with a sleek, metal coat covering it's back and top of head, with a tail that is large and cannon-like)
Tanquinfer - Fire/Steel (A great big bipedal creature with stout, but heavy arms and legs that are part-jet and a smaller, but still cannon-like tail, the sleek metal coat now darkened and covering it's back (now sprouting small cannons) and appendages)

I also had a Dark/Steel pseudo-legendary chain but I don't remember it too well.

Yeah, I know, but no other types fit it, besides dragon/psychic, and I don't want to do that. No type really works, except steel, but I'd like a second type, too. If there was a light type, it'd fit perfectly in there, but I don't want to go making new types.

Elemental amphibians sound cool... if executed right.

Maybe a fire/psychic as a cutesy legendary? I love having crazy type pairings like that; this game will have a lot of new type pairings like that.

I like the fire/steel line; let's put it kind of early in the game, like Aron.

Dark/steel sounds cool; but, I already have a dark/fire pseudo legendary, but we can find a place for it.

Let's hold off on the steel types for a while; we wouldn't want an assload of them throughout the game. Got any dragon-types? We have none of them so far.

Good idea. Um, besides the Tropius evo, I don't think I do.

How does a bug/dragon pseudo-legendary line make you feel?

Awesome. I'm thinking of a praying mantis / t-rex mix with lots of armor and sharp appendages and other generally cool s*&t, like that one mantis-looking pokemon that'll be in black and white.

I'd also like to replace some of the old standards (zubat, tentacool, etc.) with new ones.

Oh. New Pokemon of the appear-every-two-seconds-and-annoy-you-even-more-with-supersonic tier? Hm...

I was thinking a flying fish (water/flying, obviously) for surfing, and I cant think of anything for caves.

Common for caves...hmm...bats and living rocks are already taken. A fungus of some sort? No, that's what Paras is for. Rat? No, Pokemon's got a billion mouse Pokemon already. Possibly a plant growth of some sort, or...hm.

I had an idea... it's basically a living rock with arms and fists like a rock 'em-sock 'em robot. It's rock/fighting type. It's somewhat like geodude, but it has enough differences to not seem like geodude; namely, it sits on the ground and has no mouth.

Heh. Alright, you thought of evolutions?

And if the sky will be accessible, will there be another standard Pokemon there?
